Normally around this time of year all you clothes start to shrink; shoes, shorts, shirts, skirts, dresses. However this year of 2011, there seems to be a change. Now instead of going shorter, skirts and dresses are going longer! Floral patterns go great with this coming style as well as the skirts and dresses being loose and flow - y. I'm totally in love with this style so I had to share it with you guys! Below are a few dresses I that liked...

Jeans Gone Wide
Over the decades jeans have gone from high rise to low rise, flare to skinny, light wash to dark, clean to distressed, etc. The past couple years have mainly consisted of skinny jeans and even skinnier to skin tight jeggings! Although those trends are super cute, a new one has emerged. I have been on the hunt for my perfect pair of jeans and I have finally found them with this new trend. Bootcut. Flare. Bell bottoms. What ever you want to call them they are coming back, and with a new twist too! Trouser jeans! As seen on E! and at Gap, these jeans are coming on strong. Although trouser jeans may on apply to moreso office type of people, the tight thigh and boot cut calf's are also a free spirited all around good jean for any occasion. Now for this type of jeans, its no longer just dark wash, it has gone to light! A super light if you ask me. Its a great color and I absolutely love it! I honestly can't get enough of this light color (as seen below on gap jeans). I have actually gotten these jeans and they are amazing, especially with a great wedge. So ready for the new light wash jeans?
Its as Easy as 1...2...3...
Have you ever had one of those morning when you just don't know what to wear? What looks good? When your late and don't have too much time to pick out your outfit? Well I know I have, like practically everyday so your not alone. I have recently started a look-book of outfits for myself. It's pretty much a fashion journal of your own! Basically inside are pictures of what I've worn for everyday that I feel "fashionable" in a way. In the morning after I pick out an outfit I like... snap!... and I take a picture so I can remember what I wore if I want to wear it again or need to pick out an outfit really quick! It so simple and so easy. However not only that but I also include a "fashion ideas" section in another section of my fashion journal binder. It take out clippings, print out, or write out fashion ideas and things I would love to wear and do! Its done wonders to cut down time in the morning and helped me know my fashion better! All you need to do this is a camera of some sort, a printer, and a binder! Its so easy and is totally one of my best ideas! Get snappin!
Boho-utiful!
As summer approaches, the temperature begins to creep up and the mercury rises. So break out the short shorts, tan, swim, surf, what ever it is, its summer! Other than a whole new wardrobe to flaunt, add some new shirts into that mix and liven it up. The boho trend that has been around for awhile has now entered a whole new level of style. I've always liked boho but never really had the confidence to go all out boho chic. So now I've find my one piece that is boho enough to keep me satisfied yet tasteful enough to keep to my true colors. Try doing a 70's / boho look just by wearing some jean shorts and a flowing, usually white, top that is boho and 70's inspired. Like this one from American Eagle to the right and forever 21 below! Feathery Hair
The new trend this season is feathers! For your hair, jewelry, and tried on some clothes. Now, you to can get this trend! If you don't feel like getting a feather in your hair but want to stay on the latest trends, try crimping a small section of your hair! When one crimps their hair the crimp gives a feathery affect! How to give it the best look is to crimp your hair in a small section towards the front of your head. Try to avoid doing hair that is on the outside but closer to the inside so nobody can see the roots of crimp, if you know what I mean. I'll try and get a picture up soon so you can see the visual for yourself! Its a really neat trick, try it, work it, love it.
